Although many non-conformist buildings have been lost or are no longer open to the public, many others can still be visited. Below are links to some of those which are still open to the public.
Heptonstall Methodist Chapel is still in use for worship and is open to the public most days. It can be booked for weddings.
Nearby Blackshawhead is also still in use, both as a church and by many community groups.
Mount Zion, near Ogden Water, is open as a chapel and heritage centre, with a lovely collection of ceramics, and can be booked for weddings.
Hope Baptist Church, Hebden Bridge, is still in use as a chapel, and is used by many community groups. The public library next door was the Sunday School.
The congregation moved here from a building further down the road, now the Heart arts centre.
Wainsgate, one of the oldest Baptist chapels above Hebden Bridge, is now cared for by a trust and is open for regular heritage days and concerts.
Birchcliffe, Hebden Bridge, is also no longer operating as a Baptist church but has been imaginatively converted into an arts centre which preserves many of the original features, and is home to Pennine Horizons.
Todmorden Unitarian Church is no longer operating as a church but can still be hired for weddings and conferences and is regularly open to the public.
Although Todmorden has lost many magnificent Methodist buildings, the former Sunday School off Bramsche Square is still in use as a church and community centre, renamed Central Methodist Church.
